Questions we get

Sourced from the bytecode. Delivered to the holder. Everything worth asking about how the contract, the renderer, and the mint fit together.

01So what is Onchain RobinPunk, actually?
Onchain RobinPunk — the first NFT collection on Robinhood Chain. An ERC-721 that mints token #N and, when you call tokenURI(N), calls out to Larva Labs' CryptopunksData contract, grabs the SVG for punk index N, packages it into a base64 JSON, and hands it back to whichever marketplace is asking. No image host is ever involved.
02Wait — isn't that just… CryptoPunks?
The artwork is. Larva Labs open-sourced the punk pixels on-chain via a public renderer. What Onchain RobinPunk adds is a modern, gas-efficient ERC-721 wrapper (Solady) that streams that art into today's marketplaces without needing any centralized storage. Sourced from the bytecode. Delivered to the holder.
03Why the RobinHood theme?
Because the punks are public bytecode nobody uses, and this contract pulls them straight out of an on-chain renderer and hands them to holders — no gatekeeping, no royalty cartel, no image host. Take from the rich chain. Give to the mint.
04Why not IPFS or Arweave?
Because both still route through gateways. Both eventually rely on a pinning service, or a paid endowment, or someone remembering to keep their node up. On-chain SVG rendered from bytecode has none of those failure modes — if Ethereum is alive, the art is alive.
05How does the mint work?
Sequential. Token #0 is the first mint, token #1 is the second, and so on up to #10,000. What you see in the gallery is exactly what you get — no reveal, no randomization.
06What does it cost?
Phase 1 — the first 5,000 mints: every wallet's first punk is free. Any additional punk in the same transaction (or later) costs 0.00033 ETH each. You don't have to wait for phase 2 — mint your free one and grab the next in the same tx.

Phase 2 — after the first 5,000: no more free slots. Every punk is 0.00033 ETH. Hard cap of 30 punks per wallet across both phases.
07Is it audited?
Not yet — the contract is small and leans on audited Solady primitives, but before any real mint it should get an independent review. The test suite covers the mint bounds, price enforcement, withdraw, and full tokenURI decoding against the on-chain punk data.
